Louis Tuaillon (German 1862-1919) "Hercules wrestling the Erymanthian Boar". Early circa 1901 bronze sculpture from the plaster sketch. Similar versions in The Kunsthale Museum Bremen and in The Darmstadt Museum for the life size version that stands today in the Lutzowplatz Berlin.
Signed and with foundry marks for Martin & Piltzing Berlin, the first foundry to cast this sculpture in bronze.

Srpek of  Brandeis an der Elbe Bohemia, but now the Czech Republic. Hanus Folkmann and Stanislav Sucharda (1866-1916) created the sculptures for the main railway station in Prague from 1901 to 1909. The bronze is signed and dated 1909.

A cire-perdue bronze circa 1920 cast of Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926).Although the sculpture is unsigned this possibly is a sculpture by Clara Westhoff, she was Rainer Maria Wilke's wife .The sculpture has illegible markings on a little plaque affixed to the underside of the cast.
Rainer Maria Rilke is considered one of the German language's greatest 20th century poets.

Jan Vitezslav Dusek (Czech 1891-1966) 'Sokol Athlete." Historically important bronze sculpture.  Signed, dated 1924, and with the city of Tabor inscribed, also baring the foundry marks for Franta Anyz. This sculpture commemorates the Sokol athletic meeting of 1924 in the city of Tabor, Dusek's home town and where he built his studio in 1922.  Sokol is the Czech word for Falcon, thus the present bronze showing an athlete about to soar from the top step of a podium. Dusek, the cities favourite son, created this sculpture for the event. Sokol played an important part in the development of Czech Nationalism providing a forum for the spread of mass-based nationalist ideologies and was founded in 1862. The Sokol movement consciously traced its roots in physical education to the athletes and warriors of ancient Greece.

Paul Wayland Bartlett (1865–1925) "Torso of a Woman". Unsigned carved marble torso 1895-1923 Provenance: From a New England collector with Yale University connections. Bartlett received an Honorary Masters Degree from Yale in 1918. Sculpture similar to a smaller bronze sculpture at The Metropolitan Museum of Art date recorded as 1895 and a 7 inch female torso cast by Zoppo Foundry New York that bears the artist's monogram. The catalogue of Ameican sculpture at The Metropolitan lists Bartlett having possibly exhibited variations of the "Torso of a Woman"at The Paris Salon 1895,1909,1911, Louisiana Purchase Exhibition 1904, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art 1905, Detroit Institute of Arts 1907, Baltimore Museum of Art 1908, Chicago Art Institute 1923 Musee de l'Orangerie 1929.
