Schmidt-Hofer (German 1873-1925) "Nude Fountain Figure" Signed and cold painted bronze nude atop a carved marble base to hold water and flowers as a table centrepiece, circa 1915.

Paul Darbefeuille (French 1855 - 1933) "La Libellule" The Dragonfly" Darbefeuille was a pupil of Jouffroy, Falguire and Mercie from the Toulouse school of French sculptors of the late 19 th and early 20th century. Art Nouveau dore bronze signed sculpture cast 1896 and exhibited at the Salon of the same year was edited in two sizes this being the larger. Superb quality cast initialed DU and with a foundry seal for Medaille D'Or Paris MD. The sculpture is listed in Benezit page 243, volume 4 .
Dimensions: Total height 17&1/2 inches. Height of sculpture alone 15&1/2 inches. Green Verdigris marble base with bronze circular fitted base 2 inches in height. Width of sculpture 9 &1/2 inches by 8&1/2 inches in depth.
Karel Lidicky (Czech 1900-1976) "Mother and Child" Bronze signed sculpture circa 1936.

Gustinus Ambrosi (Austrian 1883-1975) "Ecstasy" Highly important first cast signed and dated 1919 by this Viennese master. Sculpture of a nude girl in a state of pleasure and arousal.The plaster of this sculpture can clearly be seen in a photo of the artists studio (image supplied on request).Superb lost wax cast with a lot of hand finishing on the textured surface.
Dimensions: Total height 20 inches by 14 inches in width by 9 inches in depth. (The figure if standing would be approximately 26 inches tall.)

Vilim Amort (Czech 1864 -1913) An amusing bronze of a naked girl holding a hoop, at her feet a grotesque half man, half scorpion clings to a rock in a tortured pose. Signed and with the K.Bartak foundry inscription. Circa 1910

A fine and rare LouisXVI style French onyx marble mantel clock from the late 18 th century or early 19 th century." Diane chasseresse au repos." The onyx clock inset with ormolu plaques cast with playful putti, the edges with scrolling gilded acanthus leaves and pine cones and other gilded bronze devises. foliate mounts, raised on bun feet. The onyx dial carved and gilded incised Roman numerals, with the maker Maison Marnyhac 48 Blvd de l'Opera further incised on the dial. The Marnyhac foundry (founded circa 1850) worked closely with Jean-Baptiste Clesinger (1814-1883). The bronze sculpture of Diana rests atop the clock latching her sandal with the crescent moon in her hair is quite possibly a sculpture by this artist, although unsigned.

Eugène Antoine Aizelin ( French 1821-1902)"L'Enfance De Tacite", Monumental Bronze sculpture Inscribed F.BARBEDIENNE FONDEUR. The bronze is illustrated on page 43 of the 1886 Barbedienne catalogue and was sold at their Gallery, 30,Boulevard Poissonniere,
Paris. Barbedienne edited the sculpture in 5 sizes, this being the
largest and the rarest ,with an original price in 1886 of 2000FF. Provenance - from the collection of Frank "Lucky" Navin (1871-1935) . Owner of the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team for 32 years

Otto Poertzel (Professor) (Austrian 1876-1963) "The Snake Charmer".A 1920's Art Deco signed, silvered and cold-painted bronze and ivory sculpture mounted on a black veined marble base.   A young dancer modeled in a pirouette position in a catsuit above two writhing and entwined bronze snakes, on a turning pedestal . Professor Otto Poertzel's iconic erotic sculpture was cast in 2 sizes, this example being the larger and the rarest of the two.
