Anton Puchegger, (Austrian 1878- 1917). "Röhrender Hirsch" (Stag).Unsigned bronze sculpture circa 1915. Puchegger made a good living as a wood carver --starting at the early age of 14. Later in life he designed ceramics for Meissen , Nymphenburg and KPM, as well as being a professor at the Vienna Academy from 1905.
